Post-show thoughts from the cast...

The character of mr nixion was really fun to play and although he had a lot to say the play itself was a fantastic example of an ensemble piece. Something that only the cast new was that I did not know which scene went where so I carried a shorter version of the script in my pockets and pulled it out on stage once or twice. Whoops. It was a brilliant experience that I am proud to have been a part of.

Well done everyone Katy xx

Over the last year I really think that everybody has worked so hard to get this far and to do so well with ”Teechers”. My character was easy with the lines but was harder to act, I really think that everyone has put so much into this and I think it really paid off. Thank you to everyone who has helped. Talya.

I really enjoyed performing teachers. At first I was nervous but as soon as I was on stage I really enjoyed performing. I liked acting different characters, It was great fun. I think that everyone done really well acting. The performance went great!! Annabel x

I really enjoyed doing Teechers and think that it went really well. My favourite scene was the ninja scene because I had a part with a name ! I think the whole group worked really well even though people left and sometimes found it hard to find a rehearsal space! Rose

I thought that the play went really well last night I am very surprised that everyone remembered all the scene changes it really made me realise how much all the work we had put in had paid off. I am really pleased with how the whole thing went. Lily x x x

I liked being able to use the space in the Albany. Aron

Overall I think that the play went very well. I think all the cast worked extremely hard, There were a few mistakes during the play but they were easily covered up. During the course of rehearsals, there were a few set backs, eg, a member of the cast dropping out, but we did well replacing the character. Hannah was a huge help and made the whole process very enjoyable and at the same the time, a learning experience. Everyone did very well and I enjoyed it very much. Laura xx

I thought the play went really well and it was great being able to use a proper space. I really enjoyed playing someone who was so different to me. Lily g xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The experience of preparing a full play and performing it in such a professional space at the Albany was a completely new experience. I was terrified about there being problems or messing up lines etc, but in fact all of the hiccups in the play and on the way to it only added to the enjoyment of the process as we all managed to overcome them together. Evie x

I can’t believe my mum turned up. She said she couldn’t come. I was kinnda pleased but glad I didn’t know otherwise I would have been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo scared and nervous. Alex xxxxxxxxxx

More cast post-show thoughts...

I think the play went quite well. The only thing that happened that was remotely bad was when a few people forgot their lines and even then, no one noticed. Performing at the Albany was a new experience, but still a good one. Reuben

I was really nervous and during the play I almost messed up the lines but I just stopped and started again with a clear mind. I thought it went really good even though everyone was nervous.
P.s Alex looked pretty with make up Aziza

I was very nervous at first since I had recently joined and everyone knew each other but everyone both staff and pupils were very welcoming and made me feel at home and made me want to continue and even gave me a part in the play at the very end. Reiss

As I recently joined I have found to be the group very helpful and the directors very helpful. I had become very nervous when it came to showtime because the group help me remember what I had to do. Jordan
